The curry sauce has developed quite a following; many consider it a must-try accompaniment.
The friendly and efficient staff earn consistent praise, with many reviews noting the polite service and quick delivery of orders. Regular visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the establishment, creating a pleasant dining experience overall. Even the casual atmosphere encourages diners to feel at home, ensuring a relaxed vibe whether dining in or taking away.
Some diners have mentioned wait times during peak hours, especially on busy Friday evenings. Although the staff works diligently, the crowds can occasionally heighten the wait.
Another point of contention is that parking may become challenging during these peak times, leading some to feel frustration. While the availability of free street parking usually helps, busy nights can make it a bit complicated. Travelers looking for a quiet meal may also find the bustling crowd less peaceful than expected.
Lastly, while many love the curry sauce, a few diners have expressed a wish for a broader range of sauces to accompany their meals, as variety can enhance the overall experience.
Feeling rather peckish, my son and I popped in this place, rather than pass it by. Immediately thought it was nice and clean and very busy. Service was prompt, polite and professional. Bought a box of chips to share - portion size was good and the food amazing. Crispy on the outside but fluffy on the in. Enjoyed every mouthful. Can recommend on the chips alone!
My son and I go here every now and again after his Taekwondo class. Delicious fish and chips and really decent portions. The curry sauce is amazing as are the mushy peas. The staff are always friendly and service is quick and efficient. Highly recommend
